The Origins and Development of Surnames
What is in a name? Quite a lot actually! The tutorial will explain the growth of surnames after the Norman Conquest, records that are used to plot the development of names and why the surname is a fascinating aspect of family history research.
This tutorial will take place on Thursday 22nd April 2020 at 3pm.
Please allow for two hours for the session, including joining and discussions.
In order to be able to join the tutorial you will need access to ZOOM. Prior to the Tutorial you will be sent a unique ID and password.
